Websites built with AI: what AI does and what people do

AI generators promise a website in one click. You can usually spot the result at a glance: it looks like hundreds of others, nobody has properly tested it and nobody stands behind it. We use AI differently and we say so openly.

In short

  • AI speeds up our first version of a site, the copy and repeated changes.
  • A person takes care of structure, facts, testing, security and SEO.
  • Ask your builder what the AI does and what they do.

Where AI helps us

Mainly where most of the hours used to go. From a good brief it prepares a first version of the pages and code. From your bullet-point notes it drafts copy, often in two or three versions. And it quickly handles repeated changes and translations, the kind where a person gets bored by the tenth round and starts making mistakes.

That makes us faster and the site cheaper. We don't spend the time saved on skipping checks.

What AI won't do

It doesn't know who your customers are or what they need from you. It can make up a detail that sounds believable but isn't true. It tends to make sites that look like all the others. And it won't test whether the form actually sends a message or whether the page falls apart on an older phone.

All of that is our job: the brief and structure, fact checking, design, testing on phones and browsers, security, speed and SEO. It's the same principle as with AI agents. AI does the work, a person is responsible for the result.

Why we talk about it openly

Because we think it matters. Plenty of websites are made with AI today without the customer knowing. Then they wonder why the copy is generic, why the wrong phone number is on the site or why nobody answers when something breaks.

When you choose a builder, ask what the AI does and what they do, and who will fix the site when it needs fixing. Our answer: AI speeds things up, 15 years in IT takes care of quality. How we build websites

Frequently asked questions

Is a website made with AI worse?

Not necessarily. It depends on who checks it. AI speeds up the work, a person has to take care of quality and security.

Does Google mind?

Google looks at whether content is useful, not at what wrote it. Generic text with no value won't do well, whoever wrote it.

Why is it cheaper?

Routine work takes less time. We don't skip quality checks, though.
